How to Use

  • Wash & Soak: Rinse Navara Rice 2–3 times with clean water. Soak for 8 hours to help the grains cook evenly and develop a soft, tender texture.
  • Cook: Use 1 cup of rice with 4 cups of water.
  • Pressure Cooker: Cook for 4–5 whistles and allow the pressure to release naturally.
  • Open Pot: Simmer over medium heat until the grains are soft and fully cooked. Drain excess water if required.
  • Best Ways to Enjoy: Navara Rice is ideal for everyday steamed rice, traditional South Indian meals, kanji, rice porridge, and rice bowls. Its soft texture also makes it suitable for payasam, traditional porridges, and other authentic Kerala-style recipes. It pairs wonderfully with sambar, rasam, vegetable curries, dals, and traditional gravies.
